Seed falls by the wayside

18.06.18: RICHARD SEED Jr ran away from home last week.

It wouldn't be news after all, most teenagers fall out with their fathers at some time except that this 18-year-old runaway is his father's clone.

"Before he made me," Seed Jr told a daily newspaper, "Dad said that cloning was becoming one with God. But I just wanted to be one with me. It's time I carved a separate future for myself."

Seed Jr was recently diagnosed as having a severe muscle-wasting disease.

"It could be the result of his being a clone," says the geneticist Dr José Ballista. "The truth is, we still don't really know the long-term effects of not having a merging of maternal and paternal DNA." JB
