36.05.46: THE CHILDREN'S television programme FunDay Live! has buried a time capsule in the grounds of the ST-TV broadcast centre.

The programme hopes that the capsule contains the definitive objects of the 2040s. Its contents include:

  • Sony mind-control equipment, which allows viewers to call up their desired programme simply by thinking of it
  • Babel in-ear computer, which simultaneously translates more than 100 of the world's most common languages
  • Iridescent spray-on fashion colours sourced from butterflies
  • Bottle of first-growth turnip wine, poised to overtake claret as the French wine of ch
